The Second Annual Future of Fitness Scholarship
In an ongoing effort to redefine the standard of excellence of professional trainers in the Private Club sector, the CSFA and the California University of Pennsylvania (CUP) have joined forces to offer the “Future of Fitness” Scholarship, that is available to all CSFA members. The California University of Pennsylvania (CUP), www.cup.edu will be awarding the second annual Scholarship at the CSFA Annual Meeting on August 20th at the Club at Admiral’s Cove in Jupiter, Florida.
We are proud to say that CUP is a Silver Business Partner of the CSFA; they are a diverse, caring and scholarly learning community dedicated to excellence in the liberal arts, science and technology, and professional studies. For more than 150 years Cal U has been known for its educational excellence and for its commitment to the core values of Integrity, Civility and Responsibility.
The University is located on 190 acres in the borough of California, Pa., just 35 miles south of Pittsburgh on the banks of the Monongahela River. This CUP Scholarship will be a one year Masters Degree Program, that is a self-paced web based program, that can be done in the privacy of your own home. The recipient of the scholarship will be able to pick one of three different paths within the profession.
· MS, in Rehabilitation Sciences (certain educational criteria may need to be met) · MS, in Performance Enhancement & Injury Prevention · MS, in Wellness and Fitness
The CSFA is now taking applications for the CUP 3rd Annual 2011 Scholarship. Only one scholarship will be awarded. All resumes, along with a brief summary of why you are applying for the scholarship, must be submitted to Marty Miller at
